Alicia Keys and Jack White record first ever Bond duet

Alicia Keys and the White Stripes' Jack White have recorded the theme song to new Bond film, it has been announced.
The track entitled "Another Way To Die," is the first duet ever to be recorded for a Bond soundtrack, according to a statement released by film studio Columbia Pictures.
White wrote and produced the song for "Quantum of Solace", and also played drums.
The soundtrack to the movie will be released October 28 by Keys' J Records label.
Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis had previously been tipped as hot favourites to sing the latest Bond theme.
"Quantum of Solace," starring Daniel Craig, will be released in the UK on October 31.
Man faces divorce after penis extension breaks during sex

A man is being divorced by his wife after his penis extension snapped off during sex.

Doctors in Voronezh, southern Russia, had fitted the special prosthetic when Grigory Toporov, 47, told them he didn't measure up to his wife's expectations in the bedroom.
But she was horrified when the extension broke off during a wild sex session.
"I told her I would get a new one but she wasn't having any of it. She said she was fed up with my failures in bed and wants a divorce," said Toporov.

A facebook application has been removed from the site after public outcry that people could stab each other as a Super poke action.

Other actions include smiling at, sending a bouquet to, and the original and now old school poke. However, other options are now to smack, spit at, and ‘shank’ which is illustrated by an icon of a knife. Members could use the blade icon to deliver the “attack” to any friend or stranger who has a profile. The victim then receives a message saying they have been ‘shanked.’

With 21 teenagers murdered in London alone this year, and most attacks involving knives, the game did not seem appropriate for any site, especially one so widely used. This super poke option has now been removed from the application and makers Slide have admitted the icon was in bad taste.


Jordan told where to go

Jordan was barred yesterday from mingling with the upper classes, when she was turned away from the invitation-only area of the Cartier International event at a posh polo match after turning up and being told her name wasn’t on the list so she wasn’t coming in.

She then tried to book a £6,000 table for ten at the China White marquee only to be informed her presence was not welcome.

Last night her agent confirmed: “It’s a big shock. Katie is incredibly upset.”

Smith is top earner

WILL SMITH has proved he's top dog in Hollywood after he banked an astonishing £40million ($80m) in one year.

The Hancock star also boasts a new record for the most consecutive films to eclipse £50million ($100m) in the box office, with eight straight flicks.

The former Fresh Prince star, who raised his Hollywood profile with friendships with Tom Cruise and David Beckham, earned £4million more than his closest rival, Caribbean Pirate Johnny Depp, who came in second with £36million ($72m).

The 39-year-old also proved he has global pull with his I AM Legend thriller raking in £293m ($585 m) overseas.

Despite his paternity fall out with Spice Girl Mel B, Beverly Hills Cop Eddie Murphy came in third place, earning £27.5million ($55m) for doing the voice of Donkey in the last Shrek film.

Mike Myers also earned the same amount as Murphy and Leonardo DiCaprio rounded out the top five, earning £23million ($45m).

Bruce Willis, Ben Stiller and Nicolas Cage also made the top ten, while comics Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler round out the loaded list in ninth and tenth place.

Meanwhile, new single, George Clooney, has proved in another poll he's still the one the ladies want, voted Hollywood's top bachelor in a US TV poll.

Peaches in drug overdose

Peaches Geldof stopped breathing for several minutes and could have died or suffered severe brain damage after a suspected drug overdose in her flat.

The 19 year old was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions by a friend to keep her alive whiles emergency services raced to her flat on Sunday afternoon.

The incident was spookily reminiscent of her mother, after Paula Yates died due to an accidental heroin overdose in 2000.

Sources have confirmed that after Peaches gained consciousness she was frightened and hysterical that her dad would find out – and didn’t want to go to hospital because of this.

She walked down the red carpet last night at The Dark Knight premier, obviously recovering swiftly.

Knit your own Hitler

A designer has sparked outrage with a set of knitting patterns to make woolley models of the world’s most evil dictators.

Rachael Matthews – who has kicked-started a celebrity knitting craze – calls the grotesque Nazi doll ‘Knitler’. See what she did there?

Her new book has designs for a dozen dictators, with a photo of Hitler doing the Nazi salute on the front cover.

Other tyrants featured are Iraqi monster Saddam Hussein, Uganda’s brutal Idi Amin and Cambodian dictator Pol Pot.


First band into the Dragon’s Den

The first band to enter the Dragon’s Den has done so…and you can see the result aired this evening at 9pm on BBC.

The new indie/rock band Hamfatter will request £75,000 from the Dragon’s on tonight’s programme, in the hope that one of the dragons will take pity on them and back their bid for stardom.

If the bids are behind them their first single off the back of the proceeds from the dragons investment will ‘The Girl I Love.’

Groening confirms 'Simpsons' sequel

Matt Groening has confirmed that a sequel to last summer's The Simpsons Movie is on the horizon.Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour, the cartoon's creator noted that a second feature could take several years to emerge as the show's production team aren't keen to put in the extra hours."It will happen at some point, but I have no idea when," he said. "The first one took us four years - mainly because we don't like to work any harder than we usually do."He added: "We'll get to it, I'm sure."The Simpsons Movie grossed more than $500 million at the worldwide box office.
