Pete Doherty went ahead with a gig in Austria after suffering a suspected drug overdose just hours before.Doherty was revived by medics but refused to visit hospital for further treatment. Instead, he decided to go ahead with his performance, though the crisis had made him four hours late.
He had also been expected to screen a homemade movie at the adult venue. The film features the star discussing his friendships with Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse. This seems not to have gone ahead because of the apparent overdose issue.

* Liz McClarnon to write a book on life in a girl band. Looks like cooking’s just not exciting enough for our ex-Atomic (second) favourite. The shock in this story is that unlike every other celebrity out there who fancies themselves as a bit of a writer, apparently our Liz is going to be sharing her story sans ghost writer. Which makes me think that it’s going to be a must buy classic read suitable for anyone’s stocking this Christmas.
