Ashlee Simpson’s husband spent yesterday arvo wandering around Hollywood holding a brown envelope emblazoned with the words, “TOP SECRET INFO (WHO IS GAY IN HOLLYWOOD INSIDE).”
Pete Wentz is no stranger to playing pranks in public – in May he was pictured leaving his house with a paper plate strapped to his face.
He seemed to be having lots of fun with his practical joke yesterday, showing the envelope to paps and public alike. Who knows whether the envelope was empty, or complete with a list of several un-outed Hollywood greats? That’s for Pete only to know as he wasn’t opening the envelope for anyone.
Winehouse facing legal row over missed gig
Amy Winehouse has been threatened with legal action after pulling out of a French music festival at the last minute.The troubled singer had been expected to perform a headline slot at the Rock En Seine event in Paris last night. However, she remained at her home in London due to ill health, according to her spokesman.A statement on the Rock En Seine website has now suggested that Winehouse will be sued for her absence."Amy Winehouse should have arrived on the site early Friday evening. We were told by her agent at 8:00 pm that she wasn't coming," organisers explained. The statement added that "no explanation of the exact reasons for her absence" was offered.Winehouse's next scheduled performance is at the Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight next weekend. Her publicist has said that he cannot comment on whether she will be well enough to go ahead with the gig.

* Helen “I used to love cocaine” Mirren also says how having blonde hair and big boobs is a disadvantage because people patronise and insult you. Being a Mirren fan I hate to snub The Queen but maybe if she didn’t get them out so much…it’s just an option…
* Director Brett Ratner has claimed that Miley Cyrus was as impressive as Madonna when he worked with her earlier this year. Is there no end to this girl’s talent? Is there nothing that she cannot do? I say Miley for president!
