Big Brother’s Big Day

Big Brother’s first ‘wedding’ took place in the house on Sunday. Housemates Mario, 42, and Stephanie, 19, were asked to pretend to be a couple to hide Mario's real relationship with his fellow housemate Lisa as part of the first Big Brother task. But after the wedding breakfast and a Champagne toast, Big Brother interrupted..."The wedding is now over. Big Brother has a very important announcement - there is a secret couple living in the House. Housemates have one minute to decide who they think those two housemates are."

Housemate Alexandra had already called the wedding as "a sham" and, after a group discussion; Michael Hughes announced they thought it was Mario and Lisa. The correct guess guaranteed that Mario, Lisa, Luke and Stephanie are up for the first eviction and will face the public vote.

Mario and Lisa were delighted that they no longer had to keep their romance under wraps and Stephanie celebrated by jumping in the pool in her wedding dress.

I’m sure you will be delighted to know that the ‘Wedding’ will feature in tonight’s instalment of Big Brother… Like anyone actually cares!

The ‘B’ Factor

On Friday Sharon Osbourne announced that she was to quit X-factor. Rumours suggested it was due to her differences with fellow judge Dannii Minogue. Sharon was open about the pair not getting along, and in a TV interview she said, "She knows she's there because of her looks, not because of her contribution to the music industry. She's younger, she's better looking, Simon wants her and he doesn't want me - thank God."

Bosses are in talks with Mel B to seal a £500,000 deal to be the new judge, beating front runners Cheryl Cole and Charlotte Church to the job.
