Doctors say Amy Winehouse has emphysema and it will kill her if she keeps smoking crack cocaine.
The singer was taken to hospital last week, and only yesterday it was confirmed by her father that she has the chronic lung disease. He commented that the disease is in its early stages, but that his daughter’s lungs were “all gunked up,” and that if she’d been left another month she’d be in a very different situation.
The singer has been warned by doctors that if she continues to abuse drugs like she has been doing, they will not only ruin her voice, but put her life in severe danger.
It has not yet been confirmed whether she will or won’t appear at the Mandela concert at the end of this week, but things are looking doubtful.
Man puts entire life for sale on ebay
An expat has put his entire life on sale on ebay after his marriage broke up.
Ian Usher, who moved to Australia nearly six years ago, is selling his house, job, car, and even his friends, on ebay.
Bidding opened yesterday at 5am, and will close next Sunday after a week at auction. Bids have already reached £346,000 after only nine hours, and are looking to break the half a million mark by the end of play next Sunday.
Mr Usher remarked that everything he owns has memories attached to it of his ex-wife and old life, and he wants to swap the old for the new.
