The BB housemates were smuggled out of the BB house at 2am last night after a security alert caused the producers of the show to cut the live feed and evacuate the house.

Contestants had to spend two hours out of the house, after BB bosses received a phone call from a member of the public. Police quickly arrived on the set in Elstree, Herts, and searched the house. The housemates were then returned to the house just after 4am.

When the live stream returned most of the housemates had gone to bed, bar Dale and Darnell who stayed up till 5am chatting about the night.

A security spokesperson from BB released a statement saying “due to a security incident, it was necessary to remove the housemates from the Big Brother house as a safety precaution.” At the moment, no more details are known as to what exactly was suspected.


Nadal and Hamilton celebrate

As Venus Williams beat her sister in the Ladies Wimbledon final, and 14 year old Laura Robson scooped the Junior female title on Saturday, it was all about the boys on Sunday, as Nadal triumphed over Federer at Wimbledon, and Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix.

The excruciating men’s final saw Rafael Nadal triumph over Roger Federer to win his first Wimbledon title in a match lasting 4 hours and 48 minutes in total. The final shot being won in near darkness on centre court at 9.15pm last night, as Federer’s reign as champion ended.

In Silverstone Hamilton’s win was also impressive, storming home an amazing 68.5 seconds ahead of BMW Sauber Nick Heidfeld.
