Computerised Winehouse

It was only a matter of time before a computer game was made about Amy Winehouse.

She is the star of new online beat-‘em-up escape From Rehab. The aim is to follow the singer as she tries to get out of a rehabilitation centre to rescue husband Blake Fielder-Civil form jail.

True to real-life form she swears and shouts lyrics from her songs and fights enemies with her trademark beehive, crack pipe, and a new weapon in her armoury – a syringe.

Social networking sites could be the new place to trace long lost relatives, friends, and even biological parents.

Adopted American Leon Bailey, 25, recently traced real mum Debra, of Ipswich, by typing her name in the MySpace people search engine.

Who needs private detectives in the cyber age?

In other news…
* Teddy Sheringham is to appear in the new series of Strictly. Names already announce include Jodie Kidd and Gary Rhodes. Rumoured celebs include Peter and Katie, Mel Sykes and M People singer Heather Small.
* Rickie Martin has just had twins with a surrogate mother. As for his sexuality…that’s still under-wraps apparently…
* Seems like the latest craze is celebs taking a swipe at randoms, and after Lily Allen’s display of affection on Monday night it’s now Rhys Ifans who’s following hers and Amy’s lead. Her took a swing at a pap last night as he left Bungalow 8 with potential love interest Kimberley Stewart. Looks like he was just a little touchy about the potential photo the snapper was trying to capture.
* A mobile phone ring tone that sings "Condom, condom!" has been launched to promote safe sex in India.
