Different West Side

Kanye West made a name for himself as a bit of a bad loser after threatening to boycott MTV when he didn't win anything at the VMAs for the second year running.

So it is good to see that the superstar rapper can still laugh at himself.
On an episode of Saturday Night Live, Kanye pretended to be outraged that he hadn't won an award for kids' channel Nickelodeon.

He said: "Hell no! I don't even watch Nickelodeon but how the hell they not gonna give a kids award to Kanye West? I used to believe that children were our future, but f*** that!"

The sketch then turns to other awards that even Kanye could not be egotistical enough to think he could win. It shows him complaining about not winning the Nobel Prize, and then competing with an eight-year-old child over who has got the best pumpkin.

Think of the children

Singer Britney Spears has been ordered to hand over her two young children to her former husband.

Los Angeles judge, Scott Gordon, ruled Kevin Federline be given custody of Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James, until "further notice".

The reason for the change in custody was not given and transcripts of the proceedings have been sealed. Representatives for Ms Spears and Mr Federline were not immediately available for comment.
The decision comes just weeks after the same judge said the star engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol".

Spice Girls Sell Out

London's Spice Girls reunion concert has sold out in 38 seconds after fans were notified tickets had gone on sale, the show's promoters have claimed.

More than one million people in the UK registered for the concert, which takes place on 15 December at the O2 arena.

"It was a dramatic moment - the sales went live and there was a huge surge as fans bombarded the lines," said Ticketmaster's boss Chris Edmonds.

Three more London dates have been added to the tour. Tickets cost £55-75.
