Rihanna wants to do business

R&B singer Rihanna has revealed that she wants to branch out into business.
The 19-year-old Bajan, who topped the UK singles chart for ten weeks over the summer with 'Umbrella', insisted that she can combine her passion for commerce with her pop career.
She said: "There's definitely much more I want to do. I want to act and I want to set up some of my own businesses. But I also want to continue with music."
When asked what type of business she is aiming to launch, she said: "Fashion lines and stuff like that."

Hook Supergroup

Liam Gallagher, Ian Brown and Echo & The Bunnymen's Ian McCulloch have agreed to front Peter Hook's new supergroup.
The former New Order musician set up band Free Bass with ex-Smiths member Mike Rourke and Primal Scream's Mani after his band announced their split earlier this year.
The trio decided that they did not want one singer to front the band, and have taken on board a number of big name musicians to join them and sing their songs.
Details about the upcoming singles and album have not yet been released.
Ramo Rant

Gordon Ramsay has stunned talk show host Jay Leno by launching a verbal attack on the French, female drivers and US police.
The chef left Leno open-mouthed when he appeared on the Tonight Show alongside actor Joaquin Phoenix.
He confessed to giving a policeman "the finger" and sticking gum on his seat when the officer refused to move his motorbike to allow him to park. He told Leno: "They are so miserable. They need to liven up a bit."
He went on to describe female drivers as "always looking in the mirror and driving too slow", while he criticised the French for being "difficult" and having bad breath, adding: "I had a French girlfriend. It was like going to bed with a rottweiler on your chest."
Ramsay was recentlyawarded two more Michelin stars, making him the joint most-starred chef in the world.

The BBC is moving forward with plans to sell its iconic Television Centre.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the BBC Trust will approve the sale of BBC Television Centre on Wednesday.
It is understood that the sale, which would take place after the redevelopment of Broadcasting House is complete and departments such as CBBC have moved to Salford, could raise £300m.
BBC Television Centre was opened in 1960 and is the home of Studio TC1, the second largest television studio in the UK.
