Fine Wine

Singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested and held overnight in Norway for possession of cannabis.

Winehouse was released on Friday morning after paying a fine of about £350, a prosecutor said.

She, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a third person were arrested in Bergen after being found with seven grammes of the drug, he added.

The singer is due to perform in the city on Friday evening before a concert in Norwegian capital Oslo on Saturday. Winehouse will then travel to the Netherlands, where her European tour continues on Monday.

Brit banned again

Britney Spears has been banned from seeing her kids AGAIN after refusing to comply with court-ordered drug tests.

The troubled singer, 25, failed to stay in contact with her drug testers.

Ex-hubby Kevin Federline, 29, asked a judge to revoke Britney’s visiting rights with Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James.

She is now barred from visiting her sons — even under supervision.
Sources close to Federline said random testers could not get hold of her.

"The court views a missed test as the same as a failed test.” said the source.

Strike Likely
Broadcasting unions have given the BBC until 1200 BST to drop redundancy plans or they will ballot for strike action.

Bectu, NUJ and Unite representatives said plans to close 2,500 posts and make up to 1,800 staff redundant would "undermine quality programming".

NUJ general secretary Jeremy Dear said the BBC "must withdraw these plans, agree a framework for negotiations or face the potential of strike action". It followed the announcement of plans to reduce the size of the corporation.
