Average ipod has 842 illegal tracks

What a surprise…the average young person’s ipod has 842 illegally downloaded tracks, according to recent research carried out by the University of Hertfordshire, which showed that half of 14 to 24 year olds share their digital collection, allowing others to freely copy tracks.

Findings showed that the average mp3 player contains 1,770 songs.

The positive message according to the survey showed that 80% of downloaders said they would pay for a legal subscription-based service.
