Amy's Grammy Appearance in Doubt

AMY WINEHOUSE’s dream of singing at The Grammys this weekend could now be wrecked - after police quizzed her yesterday about smoking crack cocaine.

The Back to Black star, 24, needs a US visa to go to Sunday’s glittering ceremony in Los Angeles, where she is nominated for six gongs.
Her chances of being allowed into America were ALREADY in doubt after being fined for cannabis possession last October.
Amy is now battling her drug habit in a clinic.
But a worried pal said: “The timing of this isn’t great. She is desperate to go to The Grammys and needs to show US officials she is taking her rehabilitation seriously.”
Officers went to North London’s Capio Nightingale clinic to grill the star for two hours.
A complaint had been received about Amy’s drugs binge exposed by The Sun last month. She was filmed smoking crack after taking cocaine, ecstasy and Valium.

Too Nasty for Mr Nasty
A new ITV1 drama called Rock Star Rivals is causing a bit of a stir with its real life counterpart X factor. The show which lifts the lid on the dirty tricks occurring behind the scenes of a fictional reality pop talent show, focuses on the lives and relationships of the three judges.

Simon Cowell was initially involved in the show helping the actors tighten up their put downs, put then pulled out after he didn’t like the way the show was going. The ITV1 series features Michelle Collins and Sean Gallagher as warring husband-and-wife judges Karina and Mal Faith.
Mal who has a striking resemblance to Mr Cowell, is unfaithful to his wife which results in a bitter, competitive feud between the two to have their acts win the competition. Even Cowell felt his representation through Mal Faith was too nasty even by his standards.
